In urban areas, there are sites created intentionally or spontaneously for pasting promotional posters. The constant pasting of new posters creates thick layers of paper that often slightly protrude from the wall into the space.
First, I began to document these spontaneously formed masses. Then, I removed the posters at selected locations and developed them into new paper through a recycling process. I then returned the recycled paper to the same walls, following the composition of the posters before they were removed. The authentic paper, in a modified form, replaced itself, with loss of its basic function – information. The result of the intervention was a visually clean surface that appeared as a gray anomaly in the space. The abstract forms remained on the wall and were visible until they were covered with new posters.
