The installation stems from a subjective experience, which is certainly part of the collective experience of many urban nomads. When you move, you often can't take everything with you, but you also don't want to get rid of it forever either. As a result, personal belongings become junk in the attic, in the basement, under the bed, or in the closets of relatives and friends. Those objects, packed in boxes and plastic bags accumulate like sediment, both in space and in your subconscious. Motivated by the theme of a group exhibition that dealt with the issue of home, I decided to collect all my belongings that had temporarily stayed at the homes of family members and friends for many years.

I used the objects as the starting point for the installation, thinking about their basic characteristic - physicality, which tends to economical use of space. Based on the shapes and sizes of individual packages, inside which personal items are stacked, I created shelves. Although they followed geometric forms, the dynamic construction of the shelves invaded the space and defied the logic of storage against the wall or in the corner of the room. The shelves were on wheels, which allowed them to be moved around the space, finding the least disruptive or most appropriate position.

As their journey continued in the gallery space, the luggage was still somewhat in the way. It was disruptive to the other exhibited works and to the harmonious composition of the exhibition space. Visitors were invited to move the shelves around the space at their own discretion, as their temporary position was only appropriate until the next interaction.
