During the reconstruction of the Kranj hydroelectric power plant, workers occasionally conducted test runs by releasing water onto the currently still-under-construction site. The dirty water that remained slowly evaporated, revealing an island. I took the opportunity and, at the height of summer, treated myself to a dream vacation – alone on an island with a relaxing read and a cocktail.

The performative vacation lasted about an hour.
