Fountains generally operate on the principle of water circulation, as it happens in nature. Following the practice of bottling drinking water, I came up with the idea of capturing all the water circulating in the fountain in plastic packaging.
For the intervention, hundreds of water bottles were needed. The end result of the intervention was an inoperative fountain filled with bottles containing the authentic water from the fountain.
The first, unsuccessful guerrilla attempt was in Prague. The second time I carried out the intervention with permission in Novo mesto, Slovenia.
While collecting the bottles, I noticed how many brands of pure drinking water are available in a single city. I kept one bottle per brand, all together 28 of them.
Because it was a fountain system where water does not circulate but is constantly replenished, the action in prague failed.
After a few days, the municipal service emptied the fountain along with the bottles we left and kept it inoperative until the following spring.
