The intervention playfully questions the idea of ​​the product as a cell of consumer society. I wanted to place the logic of commodification in an environment where we do not expect it.

For the location of the intervention, I chose a pear tree growing in an urban environment in Novo mesto.

The process of preparing the intervention first required collecting authentic stickers from imported fruit in supermarkets. Then I stuck the stickers on the still ripening fruits of the living tree. The fruit was thus commodified even before it was recognized as a delicious gift from nature (a quote from one of the actual stickers). The process work was completed when the ripened products fell to the ground.
